It changes how it looks. Never what it is.

Molt adapts how your story is presented for each role. The story itself, your facts and your numbers, stays yours.

One candidate. Three jobs.

Three CVs from one set of facts. Molt changes the order, the emphasis and the words. Your history and your numbers stay as they are.

Fewer. Better.

Made for the handful of jobs that matter. Not the thousand that don’t.

  • It won’t apply for you.

No auto-apply. No thousand listings. You send each application yourself, after you’ve read it.

  • It won’t make things up.

Every change uses facts already in your CV, and says why. When a claim needs a number, Molt asks you for it.

  • It won’t take your data.

No account. No cloud. No tracking. Your CV and every application sit in a folder on your Mac.

One job.

Posting to interview, in the order of the app’s own tabs.

  1. Posting

    Paste.

What the job asks for, as a list.

Paste the posting or its link. Molt lists the must-haves and marks the ones your CV already covers, before any AI runs.

The Posting tab: the must-haves from an invented job, three of them marked as missing from the CV.

  2. Tailored CV

    Tailor.

A copy for this job. Your master stays.

Each change arrives in the Molt Layer with its reason. Apply or Dismiss, one at a time, and watch the Match move. Need a number? Molt asks you. It doesn’t guess.

The Tailored CV tab: the CV on paper, and changes waiting in the Molt Layer, each with its reason.

  3. Letter

    Write.

One page. Checked against your CV.

A one-page cover letter written from your real history, then checked so it claims nothing your CV can’t back up.

The Letter tab: a cover letter beside its printed page, marked as checked with no unsupported claims.

  4. Answers

    Answer.

    The form’s questions, answered.

In your words, inside the word limit, with a Copy button on each.

The Answers tab: two application questions answered, each with a word count and a Copy button.

  5. Interview

Versions

Restore.

Every change is kept.

Every version, in words you can read. Restore any of them. Nothing is lost.

Versions: a list of every change made for one job, with a restorable word-level diff.

You’re in control.

Everything lives in a folder on your Mac. Only what you send ever leaves it.

Your Mac

  • Your workspace

A folder you choose. Plain files you can open in any editor.

  • Every version

Kept in that folder, in words you can read. Nothing is lost.

  • Your key

Encrypted by macOS. One per provider, never written to the folder.

Molt runs here. No account. No sign-in. No tracking.

Only the text of the task you run.

Your AI provider

Your key, their bill. Molt shows what each action cost.

  • Anthropic
  • OpenAI
  • Google
  • OpenRouter
  • Groq
  • Mistral
  • DeepSeek
  • Ollama

Questions.

Is it free?

Yes. The app is free. AI runs on your own key, your provider bills you directly, and Molt shows what each action cost.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon, on macOS 13 or later. Not Intel Macs, and not Windows. Signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens like any other app. Not sure which chip you have? Apple menu, About This Mac, then Chip.

How do I bring my CV in?

From PDF or Word, or start from a template. No key needed for that.

How do updates work?

Molt can check for a newer version and link you to it. It never downloads or installs anything on its own.

Same you. Better fit.

Your CV and every application, in one place on your Mac.
